For reinforced concrete frame structures with panel-frame construction, there are two main types: fully prefabricated and composite structures combining prefabrication and on-site concrete casting. The key to ensuring sufficient structural rigidity and integrity lies in the connection of components. The joints between columns and foundations, columns and beams, beams and beams, and beams and slabs must be designed and selected based on structural requirements and construction conditions. Common connection methods include mortise joints, welding, corbel supports, and the reinforcement-overlapping method with cast-in-place concrete.

In panel-column structural systems, prefabricated square or nearly square floor slabs are combined with prefabricated columns. Most floor slabs are supported on columns at all four corners.
